The bleep test...*shudders* We had to do that in PE. I think I got a measly eight (or was it nine?), but now I'm not sure, I'm a lot fitter than I was.
It's been FREEZING the past few days. I woke up and the sun shone through my curtains, I thought "Oh, a nice day." It was not. The wind was bitterly cold, very bad day. Good excuse to sit on my arse all night and do nothing

I'd suggest putting the alarm clock right next to his bed and letting him deal with it..or turn it off and LEAVE it off. If he can't get up for work/school etc now, he's in for a lot of problems when he has to do it for a living every day and nobody is around to do his alarm clock duty!
Alternatively, you could invest in a nice super soaker and offer to wake him up with it...

Good morning/day/evening to everyone! It's a cold day in the Frozen North, but it's Wednesday so halfway through the work week!
It's also Ash Wednesday so I'm off to church after work. Hubby's going this morning before work. I will be glad when we have slightly more compatible work schedules. It feels weird having to do things like this at different times!

Then you've got no legs to stand on... buckle up and get yourself your own alarm clock. Tell your parents how much they need a new one (and you'll gladly dispose of the old one). Hint around for your next major gift-giving event (birthday or whatever) that you'd really like one. Ask everyone if they have an old one they'd like to get rid of.
Until then, the Rooster of Doom is really under his control...

Alarm clocks can be pretty inexpensive, Ilander! I think I saw some around $10 when I bought my husband a new one last year. Like Bungleau said, get your own and let the roomie fend for himself in the getting up and turning it off department.

Love problems in the Cafe FTW!
Ok, heres the score. I split up with my girlfriend a month ago (tomorrow, actually) and after not talking for much we've been talking like normal again. This made me get a tiny feeling that I might have another chance. 'Cause you don't know what you've got until you've lost it. So she says to me "I need to tell you something and you've got to promise you won't get mad at me". Then she had to log off MSN, so she is texting me, and I'm, well, scared. Scared is an understatement, I'm sh*tting it, for a less family friendly term. So I'm waiting for the text... And she tells me she got off with a lad (who is, I wouldn't say a mate, but he goes to my school), as well as the other lad she got off with. Man I'm pissed off keeping my calm so far... ...wish my luck, I'm gonna need it tomorrow *snickers* Women, more bloody trouble than they're worth. On a more pleasant note England beat Uruguay in a friendly 2-1, and it's nearly the weekend.

Not a very convincing performance though, England looked vulnerable. More interesting was the 4-1 thrashing the Germans got handed to them from the Italians, i seriously consider them favourites for the worldtitle.
We had a pretty tame game ourselves against another WC competitor, Ecuador. They weren't as good as i expected. I've seen them play some brilliant matches against Argentina and Brazil in the qualifying rounds, but i guess it wasn't their night. We won 1-0, but it could have easily been 4-0 or 5-0 if our strikers were a bit more focused.
