It was IWD, I never did bother getting HOW. It's long and complicated, but what it comes down to is that most of my party was made up of archers, except they had run out of bolts and arrows. My mage had a lot of healing spells left, but not a lot else. I hope to have better luck with IWD2 though. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I lost all patience with IWD when I couldn't finish the last battle. Spent the better part of a month trying. By then I had just had enough, despite the persuasive arguments from Mr. Foehammer and others in the IWD forum. Since then I've started Morrowind and I'm enjoying it a lot more. IWD wasn't my favorite game to start with. I preferred the BG series, but I'm holding out hope that IWD2 will be a bit better and that I'll be able to complete it. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Oh well the final boss was pretty tough. Priest and Mage spells all levels, and a chance to cause status effects with each hit? Two iron golems to deal with, magic resistance too? That's a little overkill for a single boss don't you think? I don't care what anyone says he was worse than the boss in BG2. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
I've read up on IWD2, and it uses 3rd edition rules. But it's even more difficult than the original or so they say. But when you go up to level 30 everything gets easy doesn't it? Good luck! [img]smile.gif[/img]

PS: The game is *supposedly* a lot more story driven before. Not quite as good as the BG games, but good. Haven't played it for myself yet though. Just remember you still have to hack through hordes upon hordes of monsters!

2 weeks ago I went to the adelaide show for a week.. it was great... I rode me horses there and I got a second place.. [img]smile.gif[/img] ... I also met a girl there that I... uhhh... got to know better.... enough said...

Im also going up to adelaide this week for another horse thingy [img]smile.gif[/img] should be fun... and then next week Ill be going up to Roseworthy (near adelaide) for the National Champs... so much fun... hopefully after the nationals Ill be un-banned from the computer and Ill be aloud to come on again regularly... but till then dont have too much fun without me [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]
