Those nice gals told me to follow the river west. OK, but how, the river doesn´t flow that way... On the map it looks like the river continues from the caves of Ishad´na. Nut how to get to the other side... Is the western wall supposed to open, cause it isn´t.. Pheeew, seems I spend more time in here tan in the game

You need to talk to them some more - you obviously didn't hit on the trigger word (I believe it is DESTINY, but I could be wrong - Regis would know.) which will open the pathway to the west.

Yes the cave will open so you can go on through. You just have to say the right things to the oracle - tell them you are the choosen one and show them the signet - or something like that. Then the cave will open up for you.

Make sure you have the Signet Ring too, you get it from Nivius in the Tombs of Heroes in the crypt. When you talk to the Oracles after acquiring the ting, at some point they will tell you to look to the West...that is when the gateway opens.
