I would like to add a cool picture to my signature, depicting my alter ego as a lot of you do, but have no clue as to UBB Code or HTML Code or anything. Could someone please hold my hand through this?
I know we just met and all, but come on, help a brother out.

go to your profile and in the signature box put something like this

{img}www.yourpictureishere.com{/img}

Instead of using { } though, use brackets [ ]

The picture can't be uploaded from your machine, it must be online. If you don't know how to host a picture, ask in General Discussion and someone will help you out.

And oOOh yeah....

WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like Ronn_Bman said. If you want to see the code that gives the batriding goblin in my sig, just use the "quote" button and view this post.

Also, if you are going to put an image in your sig, be sure to read the Rules and Regulations" via the button at the top of the page. This will give you an indication of the size you can use. Also, resist the temptation to fill up your sig with screeds of text. Generally less is more

Oh, and welcome

Oops! I let this one pass my notice.

Now that your signature pic. is downsized to the proper ratio...I need to close this thread or move it out of this forum and into GenCon.

I will just close it, as the matter seems to not need further discussion. If this causes a problem, PM me and I will open it and move it to GenCon for you.
