this may sound stupid... but i heard somewhere that there was a statue u could bring back to life... after reading that somewhere i ran around like a crazy person trying to cast stone to flesh on statues (wasting many on chests...)
is there really a statue u could bring back to life?

Hmm i am not sure of what statue do you speak of. There is one in chapter six if your love was being vampiresed by Bodhi and then you can bring her back.
One is in ToB on the beggining. |

I remember that you could do this in Baldurs Gate 1. (The Branwen statue in Nashkell and some guy in Baldurs' Gate)

Exactly, ocellis The people in Baldur's Gate were the ones connected with acquiring of Helm&Cloack of Balduran

Oh thaks for your kind welcome
The Helm and Cloak of Balduran were among the best items in Baldurs' Gate in my opinion. However i'd rather have the Cloak than the Helm of Balduran in BG 2. But you can't get it all i guess (-: |
