I rather have seen McCain versus Bradley. What a choice there! Personally I can't wait till Colin Powell runs for the presidency. He will eventually, and regardless of what party I may vote for him.

Sylent, I feel you man. I would love to live in the Forgotten Realms and just go around adventuring and stuff. Life was so simple then. You really made it on your own strength, honor, and intelligence. That is why I find it so fascinating. Oh well, alas it's not to be.

I personally like Al Gore. I think he is a much more intelligent man than Bush. And for those of you who think you are getting a refund, it's not a tax refund. It's only an advance on your taxes when you file next April.

Here's a wierd thought. I have heard a rumour that there is nothing in the US Constitution to prevent Bill Clinton running for a third term after Dubya. If this is true, WOW

As for whether the refund is or is not a refund, it IS because you are getting back an overpayment based on the new tax rates. As for relative intelligence, I don't think there is any difference between the two in that area. People just assume things about Bush because he has an accent and speaks in a way everyone can understand. He knows his audiences and can use a bigger vocabulary when necessary. However, he understands that the average person reads at about 5th grade level so he does not try to dazzle everyone like Gore does (which is a sure sign of a man without substance). ------------------ Gaelic |

Then why does Dubya "Always" trip on the big words in all his speeches?
In my "opinion" Bush is screwing up big time! Mark |
