There is the:

- Boomerang Dagger +2
- Fire Tooth +3

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boomerang Dagger +2:

Fullen Woolspinner, an ambitious halfling from a well to do family, left his home to spend several years adventuring. During his travels he ended up staying with a family of dwarven weaponsmiths. Much impressed by their throwing axes, which always returned to the hands of their wielder, Fullen sought to make a dagger that could do the same. With the help of his dwarven friends he succeeded, creating several of the famous Fullen Boomerang daggers.

STATISTICS:

Combat Abilities: dagger returns to the thrower
THACO: +2 bonus
Damage: 2D4 + 2
Damage type: missile (piercing)
Weight: 1
Speed Factor: 1
Proficiency Type: Dagger
Type: 1-handed
Requires: 3 Strength
Not Usable By:
Cleric

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dagger of Throwing +3 Fire Tooth:

This throwing knife is imbued with magical fire, and was supposedly carved from an extracted red dragon tooth. Tavern tales suggest that the beast is still alive, her anger fueling the enchantment within the weapon. Though fanciful, the story is consistent, and it is said the dagger returns to the thrower "as though on wings."

STATISTICS:

Combat Abilities: dagger returns to the thrower
THACO: +3 bonus, 1D2 fire damage
Damage: 2D4 + 3
Damage type: missile (piercing)
Weight: 1
Speed Factor: 1
Proficiency Type: Dagger
Type: 1-handed
Requires: 3 Strength
Not Usable By:
Cleric

Yea, but, like you were, I'm not all that interested in throwing daggers. There is one that does as such, I think it's called Firetooth? I believe you aquire it or you can buy it in the Underdark.

Fire Tooth +3 can be bought in Ust'Natha (the Drow City, Underdark) in the Bazaar.

The Boomerang Dagger +2 Can be aquired when you finish the *bonus quest*
(Limited Wish----> choose: ''I want to experience an adventure like never before'' this will trigger the Quest to get you the Boomerang Dagger)

There's a party in an inn in the Bridge District (not the inn with the playhouse, towards the south side of the district). The leader of the party has the Boomerang dagger.

As Annatar said, you can get a quest through the Limited Wish spell, which will reward you with the Boomerang dagger upon completion. You can also just kill the party, which is what I did my first time through the game... they are pretty hostile when you first encounter them and it's not hard into talking them into fighting you.

Poisoned daggers! Don't forget the poisoned daggers!

One of the most overlooked weapons in the game. Ranged weapons with STR bonuses are strong. Poison is strong. The math is simple.

Planning on an Assassin soon, left pure, no dualing to a fighter. (I think I will use my Elven thief from BG1, 20 dex heheheh) who uses daggers and darts and crossbows, bows, etc, ranged weapon specialist. And maybe a backstab here and there.

I am betting Firetooth with the Assassin's poison ability would be utterly icky.

It's sad that there are no 'return to throwers hand'' posionous daggers, because that will be utterly destructive... and indeed butterfings with a Solo Assisin this will be real 'ícky' trowing Firetooth with poison on it ..

there's probably a reason there are no magical returning poisoned throwing daggers...
