Now, can I, an American, use this as an excuse to get crunked?

Do you, as an American, need ANY excuse to get crunked?

Bonfire night. Too young to get drunk, but I went to my friends house and had a good laugh.
We had huge expectations of a firework called "The Devils Cauldron"...and it was crap

Went to an awesome fireworks display on a huge piece of common land near my uni. They say there were 30,000 people there. The big displays suffer from health and safety regulations though. The fireworks were immense, but you can't get near enough the fire to get warm. Still, got drunk afterwards.

Someone else is gonna have to fill the blanks but Guy Fawke(s?!) was probably the first modern terrorist. He was pissed at something and wanted to blow up some building and some guy kinda stopped him and now we celebrate it. Well, not in Aussieland anyway but you've probably guessed that already.
Mashed? Crunked? Down here, if you're simmering along nicely, you're Monged.
