Linkin Park is the best. Breaking the Habit, Numb, In the End, Faint, and... well who cares, they're the best!

Hmmm...
Hard question but probably Strebers(swedish punk band) or Ebba Grön(another swedish punk band) or Birdflesh(grindcore) maybe even The Haunted(like thrash i guess) or Kreator(thrash) |

I really like System of a down, and Kittie.
All of you would have heard of System of a Down one way or another. Kittie isn't as popular, it's a all-girl heavy metal band. I think they're really good. But then again, I'm weird so what I usually think is good, other people think is weird

I've heard of Kittie, Lauren. Some of those girls are hot! Anyways, I'll give you all one guess as to my favorite band!
Edit: typos, and: Wasn't Kittie hosting Headbanger's Ball a few weeks ago? [ 07-05-2004, 11:26 PM: Message edited by: Dron_Cah ] |

I think I can pretty much guess by your signature.... Metallica.
Really? that's great that you've heard of Kittie. I'm not sure about the hosting of the Headbanger's Ball though.

Despite losing their main songwriter a couple years back, Spock's Beard still has the goods and is working on a new album.

Don't have a real favourite but:
After Forever, Epica, Children of Bodom and Ill Nino. I have heard a Kittie song lately, I thought it was cool (I didn't know till I check which band it was). Hadn't expected it was Kittie, I was more thinking in the direction of some sympho-black band as the screams remind me on some (male) singers there. Turned out to be a woman lol. IIRC however I also heard a song in which they were grunting and I didn't like that one at all LOL edit: some other bands that are ok are evanescence linkin park, graveworm, vampiria, fintroll. btw if you like linkin park you should definetely check out their demos, the best songs are in there. Like and one, carousel and and this other song I can't remember the name of. [ 07-06-2004, 04:51 AM: Message edited by: philip ] |

I have never heard of Kitty, and I haven't seen Headbangers Ball, Mettalica is good from what I've heard from them, never heard of Apocalyptica, After Forever, Maybe Epica, not Children of Bodom, Nino II, Vampiria, graveworm, fintroll, Spock's Beard, I don't know about System of a Down, or any of Svaerdhelgen's bands.

Ah yes, we hadn't done this particular topic in at least a week. Maybe we should sticky one central thread or something...
Anyway, with the risk of repeating myself for the umpteenth time, I don't really have one favourite band; my taste is extremely varied, which could be illustrated best by linking to my AudioScrobbler account, which lists the songs and artists I've listened to the most during the last 2 months. |
