When I played Diablo 2 I could make my own magical weapons and jewlery with gems that I found (I could socket them).
But what do you do with all these pearl necklaces and pears, rouge stones in BGII. By the way, can you get the ore merchant ir Waukeens promenade (or something like that) to trade with you, beacause she tells me that she only deals with groups not individuals. |

You cant do anything with them, they're useless. Just sell them as quickly as possible because they just take up space in your inventory.

Come on rogue stone, diamond and brejuilice are required for some quests and special items dont u know?
Listen to me, sell all the gems EXCEPT rogue stone, diamond and brejuilece. Specially diamonds can add more vibrational sounds to some blowing instruments |

Yes, you can get the ore merchant to talk to you. She will play a part in one of the quests that you can get in the Temple District.

Spoil me, what do diamonds do? I have played through SOA twice now, and I have not seen a use for anything but a rougue stone, and a very specific brejuilece.

Me - you need just ONE diamond, rogue stone and bejuril. The rest can be sold. Note that this applies to SoA only - if you have ToB, read the manual to see what gems are used to upgrade the various items and weapons. |
