I have some questions about Kung Fu. Please help.
1. What happens if you have Kung Fu and the 2nd Weapon skill. Does it mean that you get 2 unarmed attacks? 2. What happens, if you have Kung Fu, a weapon equipped and the 2nd Weapon skill? In the other words, can Kung Fu be your second weapon? 3. And if you have a 2nd weapon equipped, i.e., your primary attack is the unarmed one? 4. Suppose that you can use a second weapon with Kung Fu. Can you use any second weapon, for example a sword? |

I forget all the answers - suggest you do a search on either kicking (that is the 2nd attack, and from all reports it does great damage) - or the other option is search for the Author - Scronan.

Also sounds like something I should cut and paste into the BEST TIPS thread!

Just in case you didn't find what you needed.
If you have Kung Fu and a weapon equiped (in the left hand), your character will make is primary strike with Kung Fu and he'll attack after with the weapon. If you don't have a second weapon, you only get one Kung Fu strike. As far as second weapons go, you can use only one sword, the Washiki (or whatever it is). It's a slim down version of the katana. Another good one is a Main Gauche. |

As mentioned in other threads....put a non-weapon item in the left hand with nothing in the right and it will force punches and kicks in combat.

Pssst....
if you're not running the patch, a good one to use is "Ardibren's Keepsake" which you get in Shurugeon Castle. To keep the keepsake and still get credit for the quest, hand it off to another character before Xander stops speaking. You'll still get the credit, and you'll still have the keepsake. You can charge it up with blessings (AC is always good, or Hit or Regenerate), and then hold it in the Shield hand. Great for Ninjas! -Sazerac |

If you reset adventures with a character currently as a monk, the character will almost always use a kick as a second attack, even if nothing is equipped in his/her offhand. I think this is because you don't have any influence from previous roles (either good or bad) when you reset adventures so they are a "pure" monk. I've found this very useful with Zenmasters and Assassins (if you use them in a new game that is ).
