LOL - my brother and I are going to London in July and I said, we can go to Lords and see the Ashes! He's like, duh, just because we're at Lords doesn't mean they'll be playing the Ashes there. I said, no not seeing Australia [thrash] England, seeing the urn

And as for the Ashes - I keep hearing that they are coming over here soon - for a "visit" (nudge nudge wink wink say no more). I also hear our replica company has been hard at work on a secret project since the Bill switcheroo .

And as for a competitive Ashes series - bah - they have been hyping that up ever since Adam had the measles - "England will be competitive this time" is a cry I have heard for the last 10 years. I have more trust in politicians than I do in that ole line anymore. I have no hope that England will give us a competitive game of cricket, but I am hopeful that the next time they dare meet us on the football pitch they will show a bit more spine .

Sorry to blow it out of the water for you, but I'll just paste the latest in shall I??

Australia 120
Sri Lanka 72/6 (29.2 ov)

It would seem that the pitch leaves a bit to be desired.

Awesome to be in bloody England and read about cricket again. It's been a drought in NYC...

YAY for Oz. Well done Harmison. Good days for cricket all round.

How about the India/Pakistan match eh? Here's to a cricket match normalising relations.
