Odd there are no children, but not as odd as the fact that no one on the entire island ever sits down...

In Daggerfall, cities with gates closed them at dark, and you had to be able to levitate to enter before sunrise. Once you were in, though, all the merchants, etc, were open 24/7.

One of the lines that amused me in Morrowind is the off hand remark made occasionally by an NPC that people are wandering the streets all night, no one is sleeping, etc. Nice little explanation of what was pretty clearly just a matter of convenience: would have sucked if you couldn't buy/sell at night, or talk to the guild stewarts, etc.

There is such a thing as too much realism!

There's a really cool plug-in at Morrowind Summit or maybe others as well. Its called NightTimeDoorLock or something. It basically relocks most doors at night. Thus, good practice for your Security skills.

Hmm, interesting; I'll take a look around the summit for it. Know any other decent plug ins?
