I believe they make some dirt bikes with traction brakes. But, yes, getting a bicycle is the first real taste of freedom and autonomy. In sociology I learned that learning to drive an automobile is the new "rite of Passage" into adulthood, so the bike is kind of a step along the way. [img]smile.gif[/img]
