Actually, I'm not *that* one-eyed, I really, really hope that Tim Henman beats Goran and makes the Wimbledon final.

The good news is that the rain has gone, and the cricket has started up again. Both Gilchrest and Martin have been trying to give Nasser's boys some catching practice, but on both occasions the opportunities were declined by the generousity of the English - aren't they such kind fellows .

Martyn just got his century and then got out. Doesn't matter, Gilchrist is on 91 and Australia are on 511/8, 200+ runs ahead of England. Then when England finally bat, they have to face Lee, Gillespie and McGrath, not to mention the Doughboy. I think I'll stay up and watch tonight.

Australia just ended their innings, bowled out for 576. England go into bat in 10 minutes, facing McGrath, Gillespie and Lee (and later Warne). Gilchrist gets 152, going from 100 to 150 in 23 balls. In case Donut missed any of the action I thought I'd be a nice guy and post a sample over here for him to have a look at:
End of over 128 (22 runs) Australia 564/9 (lead by 270 runs) MA Butcher 9-3-42-4 - Pavilion End GD McGrath 0* (15b) AC Gilchrist 141* (137b 19x4 4x6) 127.6 Butcher to Gilchrist, no run, jumps down the track moving to leg butcher goes further down leg, misses through to keeper mcgrath took off for a run and has to scramble back from the throw from the keeper which was initially a shot at the strikers end stumps 127.5 Butcher to Gilchrist, SIX, flicked off his leg skied high over square leg 127.4 Butcher to Gilchrist, FOUR, slower ball flicked off his legs one bounce to square leg 127.3 Butcher to Gilchrist, SIX, a big cross batted shot goes miles back over long on 127.2 Butcher to Gilchrist, no run, big straight drive races back butcher can't hold a hot caught and bowled both hands just in front of his face would be dissapointed to drop that 127.1 Butcher to Gilchrist, SIX, goes for a big slog sweep style shot goes miles in the air landing just over the fence at midwicket Davros, you still here? Or were you lulled to sleep by the monotonous fours and sixes? ------------------ |

Hello again Geenie dude,
I thought you would be asleep by now. I was too bust enjoying the cricket . Looks like they are using the light now t worm thei way out of facing up to Doughboy . Was just watching Henman struggle in the tennis - 5th set in progress. I thought I would check to set if Donut slipped in for a few minutes, hoping that we were both asleep . Looks like he is still in hiding - errr, at the pub, yes that's it, the pub . Let's hope the light gets better at Edgbaston ------------------ |

The light must've still been a problem for Atherton...he's just out for 4. McGrath bowling to an 8-1 onside field.
Is Henman struggling is he? I want him to win and get to the final! Otherwise Rafter's victory won't quite be the same. We'd miss the hattrick, the rugby, the cricket, and the tennis. ------------------ |
