In my game, I'm a girl. I was walking along with my group, when all of a sudden Aerie started talking to Jaheira(sp?), saying how her hair looks rally pretty in this light. Then Jaheira(sp?) started mumbling something about her hair not looking good in the light, and Aerie started insisting that Jaheira's hair did look very pretty, and other junk like that. Did anyone else have this problem? Does it only occur with a girl main character, or what? I really don't want my characters to start acting like this... *sweatdrop*

Nah, Aerie says that even with a guy in the party. My opinion is that she is very much an ingenue...naive to a fault. Jaheira, on the other hand, is a jaded, bitter old *ahem* bag that slaps her down at every chance she gets...it's sort of like a "war of opposites."
Aerie starts up naive conversations with almost all the party members: she exclaims ecstatically to Anomen that the "sun is rising" the first time you have the party walking around at dawn, she asks Nalia why she does so much for the poor when the gods are supposed to take care of them, and she chatters on naively with Jan who is making huge innuendos that she COMPLETELY misses...WHOOSH! right over the head. She and Minsc are well-suited, as he "adopts" her as his witch early on. I haven't seen how she works with Keldorn, Cernd, or Mazzy, but I have a feeling it's fairly similar. I've heard rumors that if you carry Haer Dalis in your party, they have a "fling" as well. So no, she's not "gay"...just innocent to an extreme. |

Whew, do I feel better. knowing that she's just a *ahem* blonde, it is understandable that she acts in this way. I'm just glad to know that the game just didn't decide to glitch on me or something. ^_^;;

If you wanted a LOL gay romance, start a multiplayer game just you playing, have the main PC be a female, then make another PC and have him be a male.
This happen to me. My party is going about there business and Aerie is starting her romance script. Well thats fine and dandy. In later romance scripts she says the name of the PC and she was talking to my female PC all this time! Those silly elves ------------------ You shall sit in judgment with Osiris |

Relax, it's another one of Aerie's tricks to flatter Jaheria so much, that she'll become another living Narcissus.
Then she'll drown herself and Aerie gets the PC to herself! Yay! ------------------ |

Ouch! Not ALL elves are that stupid... or blonde... Aerie is just one of those people that are sooo stupid, she wouldn't die even if you cut her heart out.
*slash* Aerie looks at hole in stomach Aerie: Ouch! That hurt... I think... Bystanders stare and whisper BystanderA: Wouldn't a wound like that KILL someone? Bystander B: Yeah, but I don't think this person is ordinary. Bystander C: Either she's immortal, or just plain stupid! Aerie pops into conversation Aerie: No, I'm just an elf! Bystanders look at color of hair and blankness of eyes. Bystanders: Blonde! lol. ^_~* ------------------ Quote:

Now, can anybody tell me why it's OK to be a half orc, (implying that somebody ... uh... well.. yuck....) but it's not OK if Aerie is( hypothetically )attracted to Jaheira?
She got to be better looking than an orc... |
