Not necesserily the easiest, not necesserily the hardest, and not necesserily the one with most extras thrown in. Simply the one fight you enjoyed most. Which one is it?
The poll refers to the final bosses fights of each of the Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale saga parts. If you haven't played all you can still vote for the ones you played.

EDIT: The poll refers to the fight with the boss. Not the 'personality' of him/her. Which fight did you enjoy most?

NOTE:
The poll itself contains no spoilers and doesn't mention the bosses by name so you can safely vote even if you haven't played all.
WARNING: but the next posts (explanations, discussions etc...) may contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.

For me it was a choice between IWD1 and BG2. In the end I chose IWD1...
In order from best to worst:

_IWD1 (excellent... you and boss in arena... with the expansion you get a few more baddies thrown in)
_BG2 SoA (another great one too...)
_BG1 (an excellent one too)
_HoW (quite good)
_ToB (too easy compared to the fights you face before (A*******, S*****, the challenges...) inspite of all those extra stuff thrown in I found it too lacking)
_IWD2 (don't know why but I didn't like it much...)

I'm going to have to go with the SoA boss. He's definately the most "involved" villain you've seen. You're constantly reminded of his presence, and I for one actually liked the guy the same way I liked Hannibal Lecter. His constantly being visible throughout the game creates a more satisfying clash, I think.

Irenicus is the most interesting. Out of all those games he's probably the one character who came to life for me.

I voted IWD1 just cause I liked the way he looked...
I didn't know that I would meet him in the end...

oh I just realized I might have not been very clear. I meant the actual fight with the boss. Not the 'personality' of him/her. Which fight did you enjoy most?

hope it doesn't change the vote for anyone who already voted.

Well his personality is what made the fight interesting.

Personality wise, the SoA one. In terms of giving me the 'woah' factor though, most probably the BG1 one.

In all the other choices, by the time you reach the final boss, your party has become demi-gods, armed to the teeth with close-to-divine weapons. Making the fight mostly a walkover.

When you can win the fight using only the AI scripts... it does not exactly inspire awe.

Although they were custom scripts, but still...

The final fight in BG1 however, is different. You are not overpowered. The boss is actually much stronger than you, and he has pals that can cause a lot of hurt too.

You actually have apprehension in starting the fight, and when it is finally all over, you feel a lot of relief.

I went with SoA. It took me about a year of solid BG gaming before i knew the tricks to be able to dispose of him easily. And then came Tactics mod and Improved Irenicus...

I still shudder.
