Sacred Word

Howdie people,
I am having trouble with the Sacred Word. I am with the Dragon, have said the word and given him the Shroud of Elsera, but when he ask's for the Sacred Word to complete the rite I say Elseramavin and then he just rambles on again about the sword. The doors do not open either.
HELP!!!!!!

That has never happened to me but if anyone can help it is Wyvern.

But the only solution that I can think of if you can't get anything else to work would be to kill the Dragon.

Don't try it first though.

I like to use meteor storm. But he is immune to Vine and Fire Magic so don't try it. I think Moon works I can't remeber. But after you are out of mana go into melee make sure someone is wearing the Dragon Plate Mail. He will Breathe Fire and Make Bites that are worth like 50 or so damage. Sometimes it will have death strike which will kill a person. I would give your Dragon Plate Mail to some one with reviving abilities.

but I wouldn't try killing him first. You may not be ready. When I killed him i had a level 47 Samurii Vampire.

If you do have a vampire then you can use that ability it will help you restore 1 persons life on their own which will be useful

How old is your last save?

Your best chance is to reload and make sure you don't do anything until Erathsmedor prompts you.

Welcome to the board, Zennymaster!

As Packrat said - you need to let Erathsmedor prompt you before you respond, he'll ask for the shroud, he'll ask for the sacred word - you want to be doing these things in order.

You also have to choose the sacred word from the keyword list - you cannot type it in (although typing it in should put it on your keyword list so you could choose it the next time around). Generally just talking with Erathsmedor about the various topics will cause the word to appear on the list for you to click.

Hope you manage it now!

Thanks for the welcome and the info.
I will give it a go and hope it works. I am not sure if the keyword appeared on the list I hope it does and I also hope I have a saved game prior to this hic-up becasue I am not looking forward to starting over again.

Thanks people.
I now have the Mavin and am happily travelling The Enchated Sea cracking skulls with it.
I have completed the Skull Castle and am now wondering what to do next. I cannot seem to find the key to get into the Pyramid.
Oh well I guess I crack open a few more skulls and hope I stumble over some information.

The key to the Shrine of Anephas is the 'Staff of Death'.

You get the staff from G'Ezzared Ra, (the Lich) in Skull castle.
