A sunshield and two plastic baskets so that junk doesn't roll around under the seats. Oh, and a pair of prescription sunglasses. No CDs or food wrappers, don't believe in them.

No papers, cups or trash? You are my idol! I am trying so hard to keep my new car clean but it's easy to just toss stuff on the back seat and leave it! Right now I still have an empty selter can in the front that I meant to take out last week!

All of my cars have been full of trash, trust me. So much so that a passengers feet will sink below it. I treat cars abysmally, they never get oil or water, they rarely get fuel, if they fail me by running out of petrol they get dumped on the roadside and forgotten, I've lost count of how many I've dumped...... they do however get filled with crap.

LOL, well that restores my faith in mankind! I was thinking I was among the few who let stuff collect in the car to the point of wanting a shovel to clear it out!
Hmmm... now considering your professional skills and all....you don't add oil and stuff?! Is that maybe cuz you don't like taking work home so to speak?! I know my dad used to work on his own cars for many years but finally one day just up and said he was sick of it and started taking his own vehicles in for others to do the oil changes and maintenance. A car only has to perform three functions.
It has to start. It has to steer. It has to stop. After that it can die with no second thoughts on my part. I occasionally help with all three of the above, after that it's on its own or it's off the firm. Incidentally, I've had cars in my time that done one, two or none of the above but all have carried commendable amounts of rubbish. If you ain't had mushrooms growing out of yer carpet then you're being too kind to em. I've driven em all into the ground in my time..Merc's, Fords, Mazdas, whatever, and they all loved it. A car is a tool, no more, no less, a mobile junk shop makes perfect sense.

I used to keep nearly all my shoes in my front seat but now that I am living in a new place I need to wear shoes from my garage to my house so they live inside. It's probably best, I really got into a bad habit of not putting on shoes when I was going out because there would always be an appropriate pair in the car, but then I borrowed my mum's car to take Tuppence to the vet one day and realised when I was turning into the vet driveway that I had no shoes. I felt like a real derro taking her into the vet barefoot!
Other than that I have my sunshade, a bottle of water, and a plastic cube and insulated bag to put groceries in. I think that's about it!

LOL Aelia. My AC isn't working properly in my car, and only 1 1/2 windows will go down now, and it's hot outside LOL. So when I leave work I change into shorts and a t-shirt, no socks or shoes, barefoot it home. Supposedly there is some REALLY old law that driving barefoot is illegal, but screw it, I'd probably pass out if wearing jeans, socks and shoes seriously. It's kinda cool driving barefoot, you can feel the car and it's reactions/workings better I say.

Well I can only drive barefoot! I mostly wear thongs (the foot kind lol ) which aren't very safe to wear while driving. And I don't feel like I have as much control when wearing trainers or something since I am so used to driving barefoot.
