Hate to break it to you Dreamer, but they are both the same game. Unless you are confusing CronoTrigger for playstation with CronoCross. At any rate both games are awesome.

P.S. It's official I have every single FF game ever made for the playstation and released in America. I can't speak for any that may have come out only in Japan so far. Still waiting on XI and X-2. Oh yeah, I don't consider any of the Chocobo games to be FF so I don't have those.

Ok. I only played the SNES version of Chronotrigger, so that explaines my error What exacly is the difference between Chronotrigger and Chronocross?

I've played it but didn't quite like it. to me it's not as good as Breath of fire series.

I need help on my game. I don't know if anyone can help, though. I am in the tyrrano lair in the present, looking for the rainbow shell. I got to the rust tyrrano, and kept using a triple tech that did around 2600 damage. I did at least 12600 damage to it before it killed me. The only characters that I have been using are Crono, Frog, Lucca, and Marle. Lucca probably wouldn't help since she uses fire attacks, so I am left with Frog, Crono, and Marle. Should I fight the monsters in the cave for level ups (I have 16 tents), or should I start a new game? It's summer, so I have a lot of free time.

I have Crono Trigger on the playstation. FF Cronicles has FFIV and Crono Trigger. The only FF game I do not have is FF anthology, as far as I know.

I have breath of fire II on gameboy advance, and I didn't like it as much as Chrono trigger. Are any of the other ones better?

ok..now you are at the tyrano lair to get the rainbow shell..so you should have ayla in your team and btw what level are your characters? i used the same team i had when i beat the tyrano the first time. that way you know what to do.. but VERY IMPORTANT you must use Charm on tyrano you will/might get an awesome armor...

And about breath of fire i played the second one for snes and it was an awesome game but not as good as chrono Trigger..

And about chrono cross ... i don like that game because of its "Star" or level system...nomatter how many battles you fight you don't level up that much.
