Yup, just bought Emporer, battle for dune.
Being a dune fan, ive been wanting to buy this game for quite a while and i guess today is the day.
But im curious. What do you guys think of the game and what is your favourite (sub)house. I guess mine will Ordos, since they seem to fit in my RTS profile of sneaky surprise attacks.

Another question: How are the ingame movies(makers of C&C so i expect there will be quite a few) and how strong are the Fremen if you compare them with the Sardaukar.

Ingame movies are C&C quality, the Fremen are faster to produce than the Sardaukar, and they cost less, but the Sardaukar can take more shots, have slightly stronger weapons and one type of Sardaukar can attack air units, one type of Fremen however, can summon the Worm.

Btw, ill start in a minute, probably with atreidis due to my sacred rule; always play with the good guys first.

Never could get around the thought of tanks in Dune. I always pictured any war on Dune as an infantry war with air support... and I tend to do well with legion upon legion of light and heavy infantry in Dune 2000, making ambushes and setting up strongpoints in the mountains, occasionally with the help of ornithopters to open a way. Just struck me as odd for there to be so many war machines...

Well, the Ordos tanks aren't so impossible, they're all hover tanks.
