err the German ones are kind of like small meatloaves.

The Dutch ones are more like sausages in the way they look.

Both taste good

In Denmark we have "frikadeller" (plural)

It either minced pork or pork/veal + eggs + flour + milk + salt/pebber. Mix it all, make small ovals (not balls) using a spoon and fry them on a pan.

Alternatively you can replace all but the meat by a pre-made "powder" - it saves ME a lot of time and "frikadellerne" still tastes great.
