"Very well." Kaz smiled grimly as her Chaos spell landed directly in front of the assassins. She heard scuffles and other noises coming out from the alley. Readying another spell, she faced a man who'd come running out. Several Magic Missiles hit him in the chest, he paused in pain and then ran forward, apparently not seriously injured.

Neb started chanting the words that would summon a full-grown wyvern to fight for them, but as he did so, one of the assasins, who was wondering why their prey had yet to reach them, stuck his head out of the alley to see what was going on, seeing Neb casting magic he stormed out of the alley and headed towards him, shouting for his friends to come with him.

Two of the assasins headed towards Neb, forcing him to stop his spellcasting or be cut down, the other three, one of which was the leader, headed towards Kaz and Maverick.

Sephi looks at the two men who just walked up to him demanding to see Larry. Who hired you?
I'm sorry, but we're not allowed to divulge such information.
Well then why do you want to see him?
I though I just told you that.
Well fine then. But all the same, you're not getting in this door.
Why do they always get the noble mercenary? Oh well, the noble one always dies first anyways... at 'em, men! They charged forward with their weapons out, not wanting to take no for an answer.
Sephiroth quickly reached back and drew Shocksword. He knocked the weapons of the attacking men aside, then did a roll between them. But they were good, and one of them got the tip of his spear over in time to knick Sephi on the arm, drawing a long trail of blood.
Sephi winced, and stabbed his sword into the side of the other man. A jolt of electricity ran through his body, and he crumpled to the ground. The other one, obviously more skilled, brought his spear across his body as he would use it as a shield. He then came forward, bringing his spear slasing down at Sephi. Even though he got Shocksword up in time for a block, but it hardly helped as the polearm-weilding mercenary withdrew and jabbed at his stomach. The tip drove in a few centimeters, but stopped when Sephi sliced the staff off just below the head.

Deiter quickly takes his scimitar out and ducks in time as one of the ruffians swung at his head. Comeing up quickly he blocked the next attack."Ye better hope your faster then your sword!" The man cried as he rammed Deiter into the wall.Grinding his teeth together he pushed back with his scimitar against the mans sword. Staggering back he triped on a fallen comrad and fell down the stairs, breaking his neck at the end.

~He chuckles, pulling his boomerang dagger. He tosses it skillfully in a wide arc, and it slits the man's throat before its return flight to the owner. He catches it before it can hit Kaz's face. He looks over at her.~ "Sorry about that." ~With a broad sweep of his cloak, he is invisable, preparing to slip his second dagger between the ribs of an unsuspecting foe.~

Chani

~She shakes her head as the unknown elf begins waging war in the hallway. While one of the bogies is distracted with his cut-apart spear, she pulls her scimitar and hurls it non-chalantly between his ribs. She looks quizically at the elf.~ "Friends of yours?"

As the first assasin charges towards Neb he swung his staff low, hitting the assasin's kneecap on it's side, cracking it, with a cry of pain the assasin fell to the ground, the second one had circled around to Neb's right and had taken advantage of Neb attacking his fellow assasin by lashing out with his scimitar, hitting Neb's arm and drawing blood, Neb jumped back as quickly as he could after being wounded and fell into a defensive stance, staff ready to block an enemy attack as he pondered whether he should use magic or weapons to defeat his foe.

ooc: Lol I'm not sure if there were any of the ruffians left to fight after Seph's post, but I added another guy in if he did. Wanted to beat up someone too ya know
