Larry dashes out the door in a hurry, not giving anyone any time to ask questions. Mistral looks down at Chaos...and Chaos responds with a tail wag.

Larry wanders the streets, looking for the right stores. Before using all of his money, he decided to see what magical properties the charm had. So he headed toward the temples. Inside, the priest examined the charm. He smiled when he saw that Mistral had placed a locke of her hair inside the charm. After examining it, The priest declared that the charm indeed held magical properties.

Charm necklace of Mistral's love:

This necklace was given to Larry by Mistral Freelight, after she had found it in a shop of items. It was to be a witness to her beloved of her desire to always be with him. It is made of fine gold and has a small ruby heart in it's center.
It contains the ability to detect evil, gives a +1 to constitution, protects from Charm, and is always warm to the touch when wearing it.

Larry thanked the priest and headed on his way to the other shops he had in mind to visit. His gift to her needed to be of even greater value than the one she had given him. Now, how was he to find something appropriate?

"Looks like your master has abandoned you for the time being, Chaos." ~ She grins, placing the rag aside and washing her hands clean. Kneeling down, she scratches him behind the ears and smiles as his eyes beam back with friendliness.

A sudden sweeping movement jerks the both of them backward, as Isabeau lands on the ground between them. Her beady eyes stare at Chaos and she shrieks once.

"So, Isabeau... you're ready to play with Chaos now, aren't you?" ~ Mistral's eyes dance in the sunlight. She reaches to ruffle her familiar's feathers and places a hand over each creature's back ~ "I'll leave you both to get further acquainted." ~

Saying, she gets up and continues her share of the work.

Just as Chaos attempts to leap at Isabeau, the hawk swings her magnificent wings upwards and flaps them powerfully, lifting her into the air. The single shriek she issues is a direct insult to the pup's pride.

Howling, Chaos tries to stand on his hind legs and grasps desperately upward to reach his cheating playmate. Mistral's eyes widen at the stunt, then fill with tears of amusement as he lands on his front paws within seconds. ~ "What initiative and spirit you have, Chaos! Keep it up!" ~ Boosted by her words of encouragement and glad for the undivided attention, he begins his attacks with renewed vigour...only to fail repeatedly.

Isabeau begins to circle him tauntingly, while he fixes his line of vision on her head... before long, the whirling causes him to turn giddy and he ceases, uttering a whimper. Mistral grins.

Enough, Isabeau!.. You're not being fair here... you're impressed by his tenacity?... Great! ~ Happily, she resumes her scrubbing.

Moments later, she feels a tug below and glances down to see Chaos gnawing at her cream-coloured robe. ~ "Uh, uh... don't be naughty now, or I'll set Isabeau on you." ~ She shakes her head in mock annoyance.

The pup whines and begins sniffing at her boots. Isabeau flutters to the counter, watching them both.
