How many people here have read the book and like it? and does anyone know when the next trilogy is coming out and what it is going to like?

Hi Spirits, welcome to Ironworks. We've got a forum for discussion of books, movies and that sort of thing, so I'll move it over there, ok? Follow the link at the top of the page.

I'm not sure which book that is, but I just finished the Icewind Dale Trilogy. Now I'm moving on to Elaine Cunningham's S&S series, and then after that onto the War of the Spider Queen set. All drow-related of course

What I'm really looking for, though, is a novel on halflings. I adore them more than anything

You just finished reading the icewind dale trilogy...cool.. I think that you should read The Darkelf trilogy (which is about Drizzits past and all Very interesting) then there is The legacy of the Drow (which i have not yet read) ... But the Dark Elf trilogy is a must read ....

You should try the Legacy of the Drow quartet - some of Salvatore's best Drizzt work is there. Siege of Darkness in particular is very good.

I've read the first two parts of the cleric quintet it's pretty good although it's not quite as good as say The Dark Elf Trilogy. Still a good read though so far...

Argh, Drizzt is a shameless Marty Stu. Catti is a Mary Sue. Most of the Companions are. Blek, I need to buy some Cunningham stuff.

Indeed. If you haven't, you should try Starlight & Shadows, Kaltia. I've only just started, but already I can say its a lot more interesting than the IWD Trilogy.
