what chick ? there are 2 ladies that can heal. Charwyn (bard) but she is not good as a healer. Linu (cleric) - she's a really good healer and very good against undeads. I'm playing a wiz and I use Linu because of the above and the fact that she ain't bad in melee either. Manu choose the thief (can't remember his name) so they can avoid traps and opens doors/chests, but I don't care about that - I just use my wand of frost to open trapped doors/chests and by doing that I can avoid the traps (I do find that a bit wrong, but hey it's working)

i like red tiger hes good fighter immune to hold magics and at i believe lvl 10 gains haste.hes only good for healing himself. but then he takes most of the damage.

Yeah i choosed Linu but she isnt rather good in my opinion.
Can u have several henchmans along by your side? Or can i only choose 1?
In that case i keep Linu and get a good sorc or wiz henchmen!

you can only have 1 at a time, but you can switch between then (good idea, as they each have a quest)

I am playing a level 8 cleric and have been using tomi the entire time. He can disarm 90% of the traps and we have been able to defeat everything in chapter one so far...

I am playing a half-elven level 4 ranger, level 3 cleric and I have had Tomi from the very beginning. He unpicks all my locks and defuses my traps, I have only had a couple of accidents. There are some chests he cannot defuse yet, but as he levels up, I should be able to get into everything.

He is a brilliant backstabber as well.

I added cleric so I could summon animals to help as well. The back up is great and they stay summoned for quite a while.

Didn't fancy any of the others, and with my bow and arrow, Tomi's lock picking and the summoned animals fighting I cover a lot of things. Never have been much of a spellcaster, never played a mage and liked it, so this is one way to do it.

Just my tuppence worth.

Anyway I am off to play NWN. I picked a good week to have off as a doing nothing, chilling out holiday didn't I? Timed it just right, although I didn't know it at the time of booking.

I'm a level 10 Palidan with Tommi as my henchman, I've had him from the begining and between the 2 of us we are a butt kicken machine. He gets the traps and chests and has a great backstab, I take care of the healing and with the belt of greater archer I can work from a distance or use my harbringer greatsword up close. This game is excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm playing a fighter with Red Tiger as my henchman. A two fighter (or paladin) combo is awesome, especially since I have a couple thief levels also. Sneak attack/cleave/knockdown/DEAD
