Interesting words for a guy with a sig and lifestyle like your own
Hmmm, a bit harsh DK I don't know what you're talking about, FF7 was the best and most challenging in the series next to FF9. Saving the world from a big meteor and you become the famed hero in the end, it's classic!
Its ok Dk's not harsh i know him in R/l funny thing is how can he call my life wierd look at his (BURNED!!) jk

Whaat? No way, the whole plot with time mixing together (and the fact you can't enter cities at the end) made it a bit bland. FF7 all the way!

I'm not talking about plot and gameplay or story. I'm talking about the ending movie. ff7 ending movie have created a huge debate. ie. what happen to the humans?
ff8 got a straightforward ending. ie. they live happily ever after. ( saw squall and rinoa kissing? )

you talking about ff7 ending?

my teory. Holy decided that humanity is a threat to the planet, thus wiping out humans. that's why we see a ruined midgar with nanaki and his children towards it.

another teory, humans did survive the meteor attack. but they do not live in midgar anymore because it is very expensive to rebuild it as shinra is no more. we see nanaki because he is the longest surviving member.

the ending is that everybody has survived... the showing of Aeris in the end has also bearing of this... she is alive, one with the cetra... *sniff*... damn why did you have to die?!?! anyway meaning all of those were true, suggesting that Cloud and the rest will meet again eventually...

and since as kakero said, nanaki is the longest thing that can live in the game, there was hope also for him, not only did they save the world, but he has found a mate (and which they thought he was the last living survivor of that particular race). so there...or perhaps technology dissipated and all life was brought back...?

bah.. the bottom line is that they all survived in my opinion...

as for FF8... well I kind of like it... actually I like it a lot... i just don't like the part where i have to play laguna but now i am actually starting to appreciate it...

Never played a FF game... except for the demo of FF7... the graphics just blew me away and the magic effect but I never really got into it enough to be caught in it... and I thought the battle system was very confusing...

anyway...

actually, there's a sinister teory on how nanaki gets his children.

Well, FF8 wasn't my biggest favorite in the series but there one particular part I loved. When you're in Ultimecia's Castle and you ring the bell to summon forth Ultimate Weapon, the game's biggest and strongest bad guy. It was awesome fighting him

Gangrell, that was the Omega Weapon... Ultima Weapon is the one on that blahblah thing near where you can get Bahamut (ei that's me) and when battling Ultima you can draw Eden from him...

Kakero, uhh... don't tell me... they ain't humans right? just some... a dog? a cat..? anything but human...
