Bah! Go ahead and push her out the window Cloudy. Take it easy with the copy machine though, you know how hard it is to replace/repair them.
It has been a long time since I had one of those days. I sometimes felt that way with certain male colleagues at my ward. Of course the chief surgeon backed me, since I was on his team, so nothing really happened. Hang in there Cloudy. But somewhere you have to draw the line. Here, but no further. And remember we do enjoy your company in here so feel free to let out some steam in here. We are on your side!

Good morning Cloudster. I dont have it that bad, but for example of how my nights go sometimes, I almost had to call the cops on a 70 year old really drunk man last night. He tried to pay me with a check. (taxi's around here dont take checks). He said, B$% S#@$. Your going to take my check and thats that!! I said, no sir, we dont take checks, I need cash or credit card only. Getting very upset, he told me to call the cops, couse he was going to pay with a check, and threw it at me. Well, fortunatly, his wife came out and paid with a credit card. Man, I didnt want to call the cops on a 70 year old guy, but hey, what do ya do?

Cloudy, I am so sorry. Stress sucks...but stress relief is good. But that's why we play video games. It also can help to have a significant other at home to help relieve stress by talking to, listening to and generally relaxing you. It can help even more if you have a little one whose enthusiasm & smile can wash away the events of the day like a garden hose washes away muck. Exercise is good too (but not to the extreme).
Now then, about the co-worker: Have you thought of bringing in donuts? No, not fresh ones. Ones bought the day before and left for the bugs to get at. Then you tape the box shut, bring it into work and drop it off at the coffee maker. to quote Seinfeld, "I can only imagine the effects of 200 year old cake on the human digestive system".

Ouch, Cloudy! I suggest therapy! *ducks as coffee pot is launched her way* oops....
Seriously, I suggest you have a good heart-to-heart with your co-worker. Start by telling her she's a £YU"T "*&£^£ "!*£&("&*& "^*&£^£^% with the manners of a £^!T&"^" "Y^£*"^. And that retrievel is spelt lik ths.

Night Stalker, I need about a dozen Calgon Moments! LOL and Nacht really is helping...he's a great hand at hairbrushing, foot massage, neck massage...and well that's as far as I'll go..but suffice it to say he's good at a lot of things
The current problem is finding the time to relax...life seems to keep tossing me curveballs! Like one day last week I planned to eat lunch at my desk and leave early to have a few completely private, quiet hours with Nacht (we share my house with a friend of mine and she gets home not long after we do usually)but my friend got locked out of the house for the first time ever that morning... and I used up my time to go home and let her in (poor thing was at a neighbor's in her pjs because she'd gone out to start her car before her shower) and I still had to eat lunch at my desk to cover the time, but left when I normally do at the end of the day. ...heavy sigh.... Hey, Leave those buttons alone! LOL Cord...what cord... ? *angel* BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Willow: LOLOLOL! I'd sooner push my pc than the @$$^#% copier, anyway! We have more 'issues' because of that darned copier! Everyone and his brother uses it and of course it's ALWAYS breaking down and it's my colleague's priority to take care of copying issues....but guess who frequently ends up doing it? LOL YUP! ME! Dang thing... I know it waits til she's off for the day or at lunch to break down...it does it on purpose, it does, it does.... *cackling and rubbing of hands is heard wafting over the board* Glad to hear you don't have days like this too often anymore! Somebody has to have a good day now and then! How else would the rest of us recognize a crazy, stress-filled one? LOL Lord Kathen, Yikes! Lucky she came out and paid you, or her hubby would be talking to the cops and you'd have felt awful! I know taxi driving is a pretty tough job sometimes. We've had several drivers robbed and killed out my way so I hope you take care of yourself! Well, I'm enjoying all your posts, I hope you all got a chuckle or at least rolled your eyes when reading this thread.

ROTFL@ Arion, Horatio and Kaltia's posts! HAHAHAHAHA! Well, I've had a few 'talks' with her over the last 5+yrs...methinks she's deliberately forgetful somedays. LOLOL But hey, maybe she'll retire soon....and then we can work on the rest of them... BWHAHAHA... yesssssss my loveliesssssss all the others who conspire to make me crazy! To mess my coiffure by making me yank on it and bang my head on my nicely trimmed fake wood desk... to scream bad words at the tv at night when I see a photocopier in a sitcom....oh yes, they will be sorry.... I'll...I'lll..... toss me that stack of staples..... I have a use for them..........yesssssssssss!
Ok Ok... I think I'm totally punch drunk and nobody's punched me.... or I need sleep...anyone seen my missing sleep around here? [ 02-13-2003, 01:37 PM: Message edited by: Cloudbringer ]
