LMAO Serath! Sorry!
You know I would have gone back had I not thought to ask first! I didn't want to have to because I had JUST come back from there, having returned to steal the Dwarf King's key & take his stuff and also to buy back the Boogre Brews I did not know what to do with before & went back to have myself "blessed" by Bongu! Besides that, I am having to avoid Grue WhasHisName...I have not ascended to Assissin yet & that man is out to kill me for being rude to him in the beginning of the game! : ) Moni |

I ran (really, I never took my finger off the shift key) back to the mines to get a pickaxe. Took some damage when I came flying off the path up to Dragonspire. Sped to the mines and then grabbed a pickaxe that was lying around. Ran back through Dragonspire and got to Brimloch Roon...and the stupid game locked up on me! I couldn't believe it. Restarted, got back in and did the whole thing over again, just to find out that I couldn't use the pickaxe on the sand pile anyways. I had a few choice words for my computer after that.

I guess I was fortunate - in my first game I was an inventory hog and kept all manner of useless things "just in case" so when I found the sand, I had my pickaxe and the sledge hammer too! I still carry around my lucky rat's skull!

That rat's skull really is useless, isn't it? I tried to use it to make one of the party into Warlock and it didn't work. I guess the Guild only wants human skulls.

maybe the rat's skull had something to do with the Ratling role character??

You mean, that if I had a Ratling looking to become a Warlock, it might work?
That would be neat if it was so! Mark |
