Hi, i've got a lil problem with the Illithids in their city;
Spoilers ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ i have entered the underdark, my first time in getting this far, and was exploring wen ur party gets captured. when they make u fight the umberhulks every time i kill them one of my party have got confused and walk around dazed. The rest of my party is returned 2 the room and the confused person is trapped in the fighting room.. i cant rest or do much since my party is scattered. is there a way around that i can unlock the door to the fighting room or a way 2 help my saving throws vs confusion? any help would be very usefull.

use cloudkill to defeat the UH. it will get them in one tiny second.

Any potions that lower your saving throws will help agains the Umber Hulks(heroism or invulnerability). But if someone does get confused you should let them run around and not try to 'free' them. Remember you are the Illithids play toy, they control your mind, if you dissobey them they will kill you (your guard tells you this). Let the confusion wear off and then wait, you will be re-united with your party member shortly, I would sugest making him/her invisible to help keep them out of danger. Keep playing and you will find away to get him/her back.

i usually use death spell (instant death) for umber hulks, to not hurt yer party.

have just tried the cloudkill thing and it works gr8. now i can carry on thru their dungeon. thx
