So, i am wandering the countryside looking for Stout Mines and Erathsmedor keeps breathing fire on me. I try to say that erathmavin word and give up the shroud but he is way up in the air and doesn't hear me...am i just supposed to run away now and find him again later or am I doing something wrong. I even followed him around for a good 10 minutes and kept trying to talk to him.
Michelle P.S. thanks for the help with Ardibren's Keepsake...i did have it just hadn't identified it. |

You cannot catch him in the Shire. Futile pursuit! You must instead seek Dragon in Dragonspire. That's where he will give you the Mavin.

Don't worry, Erathsmedor is old, deaf and blind.
You will meet him again in his lair and then he will give you your desired attention. Just ignore him and enjoy him flying around in the sunset. -Deco |

The flames only affect your first character so you can load him/her up with all your items that offer protection against fire. That will help make the flames less of a danger and more of just a nuisance.
