Anyway, it was great to meet all of you people, and I apologise profusely for leading you around central London for ages trying to find an open bar... I shouldn't have been that drunk but somehow I was pretty wasted. And please disregard any nonsense I might have been saying towards the end of the evening - it all becomes a bit of a blur after we went into the Flamenco bar (how on earth did you find that place anyway Laura...). Ah well...

Did you guys go on somewhere?

I had a great day/weekend all round. Got pretty drunk watching F1, got drunker all afternoon in the run up to meeting you guys. Got there early, went in the first pub I saw, got drunker. Met BtS, we're straight in the boozer...slightly drunker still. Met everyone else, got slightly drunk..err...more.

Well, we had a go at finding Walkabout on the thought that it was in Covent Garden - which turned out to be a wild goose chase of the highest order. Eventually we ended up in a rather interesting bar Epona suggested that was still open. I think that what with the drink, the coffee, the shouting "Cafe Italia!" randomly, and the wandering around London, the evening took on a slightly surreal edge to it. I had a great time as a result!

I can only return what Charlie said really - it was a pleasure to meet you lot. We should go out and get hammered more often...

A 'rather interesting' bar eh Barry? That's very kind of you to phrase it like that - I tell you, that place is a seedy pit and a real dive - but it's open late even on a Sunday night/Monday morning

Can't be too fussy at 1am!

Depressingly true - even in central London. But I actually quite liked the place! Admittedly I was so drunk I was shouting at strangers for some reason... and telling jokes and forgetting the punch-lines... oh dear oh dear... The more I think about that evening the more I am astounded by how drunk I got on that small an amount of alcohol. Very bad form - must try harder.
