In the begining of ToB, you can summon some old friends; among those listed is Yoshimo. I couldn't pick him, 'cos he's dead, but it made me wonder: Is there any way to get Yoshimo through SoA without dying? I don't like the other thieves much, so it would be nice.

Is there any dialogue in the expansion, though, or just Yoshimo's regular sounds?

Yoshimo is a punk and it only suits him that he died in SoA...

Yoshimo was prob. my favorite char., he seemed just a bit more REAL than the others. Remember he IS a bounty hunter & that his employer is/was a powerfull wizard, even if the pay wasn't great could you really fault him for helping Irenicus? (if he didn't help he prob. would have ended up dead - he was basically in the same fix as Saemon, but not as powerfull to pull of the triplecross.) Also, was there a betrayal? He never gave any oath of loyaltee beyond helping you out of the 1st dungeon, & if you chose to keep him you were rewarded w/ his service again & again.
I never found him annoying and I liked the fact that he was always hiting on Nalia. (He also stomped ass after dualing to a fighter from 11th level bounty hunter.) |
