Yesterday I handed in my Master's thesis which I have been working on for about a year. It is on the subject of working environment in the construction industry. Today the government have compleatly changed their policy within that area. Talk about a fast redundancy time

Ouch!
That reminded me of when I rebuilt my 1976 Chevy Chevelle and the day I rolled it out of the garage, the Gov't announced they were adding crap to regular gas that would eventually render older model engines (such as my "brand-new" one) useless as they were working to force reduced fuel emmissions and changing to all unleaded at the pumps.
I feel for ya. I didn't spend a year working on the car but the three days I spent in a garage sleeping in its shell and eating cold sandwiches sucked LOL.
Not to mention that I got to watch as it was slowly rendered as nearly useless as they promised from the gasoline additives.

That's nothing! Yesterday morning I had a perfectly working Compaq iPaq Pocket PC. After taking it apart to clean some dust that was on the inside, it decided to kick the bucket later on that evening. To top it all off, I dropped a glass of coke on it and lost any hope of fixing it. All the crap had to happen in one day!

That reminds me of the time I ate nothing but peaches for two weeks. Kinda one of those things you don't ever want to look back to...heh

Yeah my mother used to feed us pancakes every day, sometimes twice...for years.
I haven't eaten a pancake in 33 years and I can still taste them lol.

CRAP!! There goes this batch then......

What about crepes? Do you eat crepes? And why did she make you eat pancakes that much anyway? Was it some kind of punishment?

Sorry to hear that Ar and Moni I remember how my 30 GB HD crashed from one reboot to the next. Totally physically damaged. Lost all of my NWN saves/characters, all of my Morrowind saves/characters and tons of other stuff. Including a game with characters that I'd worked on building for over 3 years

Yep, it renders them useless forever. We have Rex's first hard drive hanging on the wall as a token of things that could happen LOL.
