Game freezes

This is in IWD. I need some help here. After battling Poquelin for a bit, and he does the Dimension door thing and takes my party back to Easthaven, the game freezes, and I get no response out of anything. Has anybody else experienced this? I've tried it a couple times now, and the same thing happens each time.

Yah! It happened to me a couple times the first time I played but I just rebooted, closed all other applications and it worked OK.

The funny thing was as soon as they ended up in easthaven, I couldn't move them, or do anything but they could still talk. So they were say things like "I'm bored", "Why are we standing around", lets just say their being able to talk made me just a little more annoyed by the game semi-crashing. It was like they were mocking my situation.

Thanks, that's what's happening. My characters can talk, and raise a fuss because they are just standing around, but I can't get them to move. I've rebooted since trying the first time, but I didn't close all running apps. I'll try that next. [img]smile.gif[/img]

This issue gets raised periodically on the boards here. You might want to check out this thread as the solution proposed within it seems to have worked in most instances.
