Professional Football or Soccer? Which is more technical? Neither. Which is better? Who cares...

Team sports for children provide an important growth oportunity... that's the only real value of such activities imo, and at that point it doesn't matter a whit which activity someone chooses to participate in.

That's right. World Cup Champion Girls!

BTW, isn't soccer an English term. I read somewhere during the World Cup that the word actually originated across the Pond.

I think soccer takes more stamina, and I think soccer players are the most "in-shape" pro atheletes (with the obvious exception of bowlers). However, pointy football player go through more punishment in a game, which is why the season is short.

I really got into the World Cup this year, and wish I could have seen more games. But I have to say, it's hard for me to watch any sporting event all the way through unless I'm at a bar.

Both Suck IMO.

Soccer I find slow and boring, with guys acting like their little kids not getting their way when something bad happens to them.

And Football, american footbal, when I watch it all I see is a bunch of unintelligent guys running around hitting each other and thiking they are Gods when they do something right.

Both agurvate the crap out of me.
