Light Bulb

I'm soooooooo effing trashed at work right now. I blame harks.

Ok - so MY run down of the evening;

All those involved made in on time.... Harks, Wellard, TDC (Timbo) and myself. Oh, and about 4 or 5 of Harks' housemates joining us for his 22nd birthday. (hint hint, give him a birthday shout for Sunday).

Things went pretty slow figuring out where to dine. Considering that we were on a Student budget, we just went to a fast food plaza after searching for an affordable restaurant. I myself had some chicken that looked like rubber, and coincidentally tasted somewhat similar as well. Tasty enchilada my ass.

Anyway, we headed on to a pub known as the 'Three wise monkeys'. We are all ashamed to say that a freaking German (in particular, Martin, a germin housemate of Harks) knew the area better than us. We were so ashamed. Once inside, the fun begun. Haha, that rhymes.

I want to admit it - I got Harks OFF HIS CHOPS (DRUNK). Even got he and his friends dancing. Go me. Oh well, he seemed to enjoy himself. Wellard wore an extremelly loud and bright shirt that has concequently recieved comments throughout the night from both TDC and myself. Nice work, mate

I think the highlight of my night was chatting up the FEMALE bartender and making her produce a rather lethal shot known as a "hot mortified lesbian". It consisted of scotch whisky, sambuca and tobasco sauce (I'm sure there was one other ingredient, but for the life of me I'm just too pissed to remember). Tasted pretty damn good, too.

Anyways, was a 'hoppin' good night, wish the orange boys and Mem coulda made it, but we made the best time that we could with the people and the venue that we were given. Thanks a lot guys

Now I'm just waiting for the random and most likely horrible photo's to be produced by Harks... and before you all get your hopes up - I'm sure there are only about 4 (if that).

Love you all long time, and lets make the next one even better with a bit more planning, eh?

-Dave

Good to hear you had a great time guys! I just submitted two of my MBA applications, the ones that were due April 1st - thank God it's still April 1st in the US. I'm so KNACKERED!!! Sorry I missed it, but I was under the pump bigtime. Now I get to take a break for a few days and then the next lot of unis are due on the 15th.

I'm DEFINITELY in for the next one, as long as we do it after the end of April (no more applications or anything then ).

We'll have the next one around Paddo/Darlinghurst? Or should we go out west for the Orange boys?

It was suggested we all go to Orange (ROAD TRIP!!!!) for the youngins, and personally I reckon it sounds like a top idea - IF we can get some sort of accommodation happening.

Wish you were there Mario, you missed out on some laughs.

Dave!!! what in the world did you put in those shots you gave me .

It was good fun and Ill get the pictures up soon. I was close to drunk but I was only semi-drunk since I remembered everything last night. Good laugh, good fun, good music, and good dancing.

The toughest part of that night was walking home. (as i was actually walking in an S motion and tripping once in awhile.)

A road trip to orange sounds fun. (hoping someone have a car so I can hitch )

edit:
oh yeah.. im just woke up now with a major headache.. (small hangover i guess).

Thanks once again IW guys who came. It was really cool to meet up with you again.

Sounds fun guys, how about a world IW union?

Can't wait to see this elusive shirt.

Mems, totally unrelated, but whatever happened to that car of yours?
