I let Keldorn leave my party for a day, and when I return, I get a message saying that he's busy. I reloaded, tried it again, and the same thing happened.
I'm starting to think the best thing might be to just ignore his personal little quest (I don't think he makes anymore complaints about not going home if you talk to his wife's lover).

You need to install the official patch. If you've got ToB, install the ToB Official Patch and the ToB Fixpack. If you don't have ToB, install the SoA Official Patch and the SoA fixpack. They can all be found off of links in the Compiled Mod List sticky.
