Nothing more than curiousity here....

How many people made a save in the Stout Mines, just before they finished
the area and killed Freyedies/stole his key just to see all the loot in
the chests? O

I will admit I saved just before killing Raskalion then went up and turned
Freyedies and his guards into dwarf a la meteor, extra crispy.
(That's a pretty nice hammer he has too)

I've done it. Doesn't do much, other than get all the rest of the miners mad at you. Except Signor Pastor-Oleo, who will still be "lettin' you out now..."

Some extra treasure, but nothing really nice aside from Kraokendon.

Can't you get everything without having to kill the King Frey-d-cat? Asside from Kraokendon that is? Can't you just come up through the hole, and wipe out all the vaults without alienating anyone? I'm pretty sure I have.

Ermmmm.... you do know what is on the boards, don't you, Jon? That's where you try to make a lot of posts in order to advance rank. It's really frowned upon in general, especially when people do silly things like offer to buy a at the Boogre Bar when they get their new level.

Really. is frowned upon.

Jsalsb,
jump up through what hole to get into the other vaults?

The only thing I saw/found was the lift to get into one of the vaults
at Raskalion.

Bungleau, as for eq, I am sure it's random but last night I found some more
Oomphaz armor - very handy for 2 of my group.

Just a thought...

I once tried teleporting Raskallion right up in front of Freyedies and killing him there. Freyedies not so much as noticed it. Perhaps if one were to teleport Freyedies down in the Burning Carvern out in the lava or down where Raskallion is hiding one may be able to kill him without the other miners' noticing.

I have never tried it. Perhaps someone else can shed light on the matter???

I haven´t tried it but I doubt it. This game is old and therefore not so sophisticated in its triggers. The trigger probably is if you kill the king/a guard they will all become hostile. The same goes for the MM series for instance.

Eddie, the hole jsalsb is talking about is probably the same lift as you went up through.
