Alas, I'm still waiting for EB to ship my copy
Dwarf M - primary fighter Felpur M - primary fighter Elf F - will be a ranger Hobbit F - will be a Bard Rawulf M - primary caster Faerie F - primary caster Any suggetions on what classes would form easiest/hardest to get through 8? Also, I may replay 7 again (since I seem to have a lot of time before 8 gets here) with 6 Dwarven Monks...ok this is going to make 7 nearly impossible, but from what I've heard on how 8 works I think this may be the uber party, pardon my EQ speak. 6 Monks with pie/vit maxed, can they be damaged? |

keep in mind, this is all personal opinion.
using the same class for your entire party is, uh, extreme. LOL. but it seems that determination can get ya thru, one way or the other. keep in mind, most everyone here has restarted at least 4 times, trying to make a decent working party. it can be tricky. you may be hobbling yourself. i adore my monk, but she's got her limitations. psionic spells only. what i have experienced so far, good casters are as important as good fighters in this game. also, she can't wear anything other than cloth and suede, so ac from that source is a no/go. but with scrolls and potions, you might be able to do it. sorry, i guess i'm not much help. maybe someone who has gotten farther along will be able to elaborate more. Make one of your primary fighters a true fighter. They are the best at combat, especially in the early part of the game. They also get many more hitpoints than the combat hybrids. I'm enjoying playing a monk. At level 9, he's getting 6 or so attacks per round, for 10-12 damage per attack. And an occasional instant kill.
Hardest melee classes would probably be ninja or samurai. I'm really frustrated with my samurai. She has equipped bloodlust and a wakizashi. She misses with bloodlust at least 80% of the time, and her wakizashi does 4 points of damage if I'm lucky. Ninjas are slow to develop, but I hear they can be powerful late in the game. |

Hardest to play would be 6 Fairy Fighters
