Hi everyone! I have found that a lot of graphic problems with the game is because of the graphic accelerator is to high for the game. If you are having these problems try turning down the accelerator. Here's how:

1. Go to control panel
2. Click on performance
3. Go to graphic tab located at bottom of screen
4. Move accelerator tab over to no acceleration
5. Click ok to accept
6. Restart computer even if it does not tell you to
7. Start game. Change to software mode.
8. Restart game and see if it helps.

I hope that this helps someone in the future.

Anybody has any idea on how to make the game play with high rez (800 or 1024) on my system?

Whenever I go to these rez, the text gets distorted and movement in town becomes choppy and slow.

I tried the above trick and it didn't work.
I tried playing the game in DirectX 7.0a and it didn't work.

Here's my config:

PIII 833
256 Meg Ram
20 Gig HDD (15 free, 1 Gig swap)
NVidia TNT2 M64 32Mg Card
Win Me
DirectX 8

Thanks,

PS: don't put a rush on this... at least I can play the game in 640

My system is almost the same as yours!
Except for the following items:

Memory 512mb
Graphics card Voodoo5500 AGP 64mb
Harddrive 80GB

I have tested the other resolutions and they seem fine except for the writing.

Thanks, Dragonrider, this is good information to have. Did you put it in the Best Tips thread also? It could probably be found there again easily if someone needs it in the future. Just wondered. Thanks again!
