I will take this party through SoA and ToB.
Solaufein-F/M Valen-F/T C/M C/R Now I can`t decide to make another F/M as a PC so there would be two F/M`˙s or should I be C/R or C/M. Can anyone help me? C/R is a very good tank. He can buff the party. So can C/M but this is more spell bomardier. |

C/R I think...M stands for mage riaght?...If so I would have an extra fighter..Fighters and especially rangers ( the r stands for rangers raight?) can effort to have some damage..and you'll need that

You would need one thief at least, for all the traps and locks- unless your mage has detect traps and knock. Also for the backstabbing. If you have two mages, one should be a buffer and anti-wizard-magic mage. The other- an aggresive magic arrow and offensive killer.

I would go with just the four you have, and have the PC be the C/R or C/M. The C/R will have more hitpoints, but also be on the front lines more. On the other hand, your C/M will not be exposed to as much combat, and will have the protection of stoneskins. I think that a party of four would be plenty. You don't have to worry about people getting past your tanks, because your "back line" can also tank when needed. Plus, if you keep it down to four, you'll be leveling that much faster.

Yeah I know. It is a good party and I have the basics covered more or less. I think I will be a C/M.
ADD] I made C/R the PC. He is very powerful on later levels. C/M will have more offensive tasks. With both: Mage and Cleric spells. So I the PC is more defense oriented while the C/M is more offensive. Also when I get Valen should i rush for Solaufein and we do quest together (for the sake of EXP) or should I do all the quests before going there? [ 03-17-2004, 04:07 PM: Message edited by: Xen ] |

It's just me, but when I want an NPC, I usually go right away to get them, if possible. You can do it, just be careful (and remember that you can come back laterfor some of the harder stuff in that chapter).
