Finally... some levelling up tonight!
One of the warriors went first... 3 whole HP, 2 attributes, and a skill. Gonna be a long game... The other warrior got 8HP (what a stud!), but everyone else was just one HP. Almost everyone was two attribute points, with one getting just 1 and another getting three. Spending those points is critical... the mages and cleric went for SPI, in the hopes of regenerating mana. The warriors... dexterity, in the hopes of actually hitting the broad side of that barn. The rogue... traps and locks, of course. Still haven't found anything he can open, but we're trying... A big thing... quests! Yep... those first two priest quests were worth a few hundred XP... a lot for these peasants. We're running to the toad village so the warriors can do their first quest, but the wizards are stuck. No way are we going to find Scabban until they've got some magical firepower available... And speaking of magic, a joyous thing happened when they levelled up! Their mana increased (ever so slightly), but they're now regenerating! I think it has to do either with having zero mana left, or with being level one. Or just that they're peasants, and don't know any better... Did have one unintended battle... I'd planned to leave the group of rogues by the horse alone until the peasants could actually fight, but I got too close and saw one of them. And then... you guessed it... they *WILL* hunt you down! The rogues (and rogue leader), a party of trolls, and some other critter came out to the gates of Valeia to do battle. What a battle... peasants beating on the rogue leader, hitting the ground more often than not, and eventually slaying him. A whole lot of... "Missed! Missed! Whoops! Look out! Yikes! *A HIT!!!* Whoops! Sorry..." Going back in for some more... fun stuff, these peasants. Be interesting to see if they can actually get to the Toad Village...

It is truly pathetic.... you know how when you're in battle in the water, time seems to stop? Or at least you don't drown while you're fighting?
Well, for these guys, fighting their first batch of lagoon piranha, flailing away... I suddenly noticed that every one of 'em had used more than half her air! The humiliation... drowning while fighting piranha in waist-deep water... More later tonight... they did make the toad village last night, so the warriors got their 200 XP. Tonight... maybe we'll go over to nymph lake and run away from some gwylls... All in a quest to hit level 2....
