SIR BLANDAMOUR "Roxane, we're coming!" (He slashes the orc again. The monster turns around to atack him, but it has put its club down. It resorts to pounding with its fists. Other orcs attack him. Sanael and Verloren find themselves attacked by orcish archers.)

Sanael Ganahr

Ignoring the orcs closing on him with their swords drawn, he instead moved right between them using his his own blades to parry their thrusts and charged straight at the archers, knowing full well the disadvantage they would have in close combat.

One of them tried to fire at him before he reached it, but the shot went wide. A stangled cry of pain from behind him, told Sanael that the hurried shot had struck one of the orcs that he had just passed by.

Sanael chose not to attack the orc that had just fired, because it would need a little time before it fire again. Instead he chose to attack the next in line, who was drawing back the string of its bow. His sword hit its hand - severing two fingers and causing it to drop the bow and clutch its maimed hand.

Sanael then spun past it - slashing its throat with his dagger - and engagad the next orc. Before it could aim, his sword pierced its chest, killing it instantly.

Having disposed of two of the archers he spun round to face the third, who had discarded his bow in favour of a club and the remeaning of the two orcs he had passed.

And Welcome Piestrider
I haven't posted a while now due mainly to the way too hot weather we've been having here, but luckily, with Legolas and Sorsha leaving the group earlier on, it doesn't seem to have slowed things down too much

IC:Legolas and Sorsha

The day was wearing on as the two of them continued travelled south. There was really only one way leading in the direction they were headed, and dangerous as it might be, it was much more secure than the treacherous grounds surrounding it. The elf knew there was nothing to be gained off the road but a broken neck, and the reason for his happyness suspected.
Although they walked on without saying much, the silence wasn't an uneasy one. It was simply that mere words somehow seemed... unnessecary. There was comfort to be had in the presence of the other, and as long as they walked on undisturbed, that was enough.
Over time, the two came to a lone inn. Although the sun hadn't sunk beneath the mountains in the distance, it would doubtless be the only chance they'd get at a warm meal and a safe place to rest this day. Aside from that, the clouds had been building up throughout the day, and rain seemed not far off.

They quickly learned from a serving wench that the owner of the Silver Cup Inn was a young man named Neil, who'd inherited the place when his father was respectively torn apart and eaten by a great burrowing insect, before Neil's very eyes. Appearantly, he regularly fell into dark moods, which was probably the reason the inn was but sparsely crowded despite it's strategic location.
Although there were plenty of glances from those others in the common room, noone got up to speak to the pair of newcomers. After the meal Sorsha and Legolas left the room to get some rest, leaving the other guests to speculate on the uncommonly clad couple's origins and mission.

Sorsha

As she swings her feet off the wooden planks of the floor and onto the bed, she stretches her arms and gives a silent, yet hearty yawn. Her entire back has been strained and flings herself contentedly onto the mattress and pillow, so glad is she of getting a decent rest at last.

It is a dreamless night that passes; her breathing is normal and cheeks rosy. The future can wait for now.

Isaura

Amidst the confusion, all she can think of is ending this quest so that her heart may once again be at peace. Grabbing the hilt of her dagger, she charges forward, quite forgetting that she is by nature not a fighter and trained in the school of magic.

The result- a few frantic thrusts, some terribly aimed - and a staggering orc. Yet she does not come unharmed from her pathetic attempts at dramatics. Dishevelled and half-bewildered, she glances about wildly trying to stand on her slashed feet and locate her companions. The world seems a whirl of red and she staggers forward, hearing familiar voices shouting ahead.

Just when would the havoc end...

Verloren
A stinging sensation in her leg caused Verloren to stumble and trip. Looking back, she saw a long arrow sticking out of her leg. Uttering a string of curses through gritted teeth, she cast Magic Missle at the orc who shot her, and after a moment, Melfs Acid Arrow at another preparing to shoot.

"Of all the places to be shot, it had to be a dark cave didn't it," she quickly yanked out the arrow with a squeak of pain, taking a shuddering breath as blood started to flow and soak her pants. Ignoring the pain, she staggered to her feet and deflected the oncoming arrows with her swords, killing a few more orcs on her way.

It seemed that she and Saneal had cleared the orc archers, from what could be seen. Unable to bear the pain, she collapsed on to the ground and ripped a piece of her shirt, holding it tight to her bleeding arrow wound. Her vision was swirling from loss blood.

She let out a loud whistle, and soon Wind Shadow was clattering into the cave. She managed to pull herself onto his back-she would be safer on him then on the ground

SIR BLANDAMOUR (The arrows spring back from his armor. The huge orc weakens rapidly from the flow of blood from the severed artery, and soon collapses and dies. He steps up to the door.) "Roxanne, it is I, Blandamour. We are here to rescue you. Open the door." (He fumbles with the useless key, hears noises of weges being drawn, and suddenly, she is in his arms, sobbing in relief.) He looks around and sees no orc left alive, only Sanael regarding him amusedly, and Verloren binding her leg. The fight is over, but there are some things to find out.)

LADY ROXANNE (Clings to him tightly.) "Oh, Blandamour, I have been waiting and praying for you to come." (whispers) "We need to talk, alone."

ELIZA (She finally gets to the cave and is stunned by the sight of her lover embracing a handsome woman in her thirties, with brown-black hair, like Blandamour's before it started turning gray. She notes the strong family resemblance, however, and concludes that must indeed be his sister. She is clad in dirty rags, and must have been ill-used, judging from the bruises that she can see. She goes over to the embracing pair, confident of an introduction.

LADY GALADRIA (As she kills the last orc tha she sees alive, she quickly scans the field of battle. Seeing Isaura standing wounded, she quickly gallops over to her, sweeps her onto her saddle, and cast healing spells on her.) "Well, Isaura, let us see where the others have gotten off to. I see Eliza going into that cave, so, let us see how this plays out."
