I'm in chapter six, and I keep getting the "fatal exception" blue screen whenever I'm involved in a large scale battle. This happened in three or four different battles, and I'm unable to complete any of them. Is this a bug? Has anyone else had this? Or, is it my machine, and if so, any ideas on how to fix it? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm a computer novice who just really wants to finish the twisted rune battle! Thanks!

There could be a number of things that causes such.
1. Your processor and memory are too low (like a pentium 200 and 32 mb memory) I myself got a pentium 166 MMX and 32 mb of memory, but I have to make some adjustments in my configuration. 2. Your baldur's gate 2 configuration is set too high. This I think will cause all this. You simply have to use the setup of baldur's gate 2 and put the slider down (maybe even lower than your system can handle. The weather effects may cause crashes if you have a slow system. 3. You have a bug if your baldur's gate2 game. Maybe if you can tell me more exact details I can help you futher out! |
