Hi.

I'm going to a LAN party this weekend; we'll be playing a lot of MOH:AA and Spearhead. A bit of Stronghold Crusader, and maybe some Red Faction. What games do you recommend are really fun to play at one of these?

Cheers

The problem with most of my mates, they don't seem to like RPG's I'd love to have a bash at some of them with a group but they prefer the first person shooter and some strategy games...grrrrrrr... oh well.

Any more ideas??

Yeah, counter-strike.I remembered playing it for 8 hours non-stop by LAN when the owner told me that I could play with out any charge as long as I want. But now, counter-strike's fame here in my place has been substituted with Raagnarok.

UT2003, Myth II (with the Fetchball Mod ) and uh... I'd say Halo but that would be for an X-box LAN party.

First of all, dump Stronghold. Next, take a spoonfull of Counter-strike and add a bit of net maps. While mixing it, pour in about a tea-cup of Broow Wars-flavoured Starcraft and stirr. If you like it spicy, you can add Quake III TA, but that falls to one's taste preference. After watching it boil for about three hours, you may freely add Unreal Tounrament or UT2K3 and let the meal cool down for youple of hours. In the end, you can't go wrong with just a bit of MoH: AA. Remember to add various snacks and beverages while cooking.
Bon Apetit!
