Demons - Nabbasu glabresu pit feind spells are underestimated

i got my 5 skeletal warriors mashed by a nabassu because i didnt bother to protect them- also

SPOILER

set a pit feind vs firkraag or adalon - if they use symbol fear (demon spell) the dragons get scared

Ohh and nishruus?? who hates Nishruus?? mages??

I know the game calls them demons; but, some are devils from the Nine Hells (Pit Fiend). Like you say, if used properly, they are the most powerfull creatures you can summon. It is funny waching those oh so powerfull bad guys s*** a pickle when they see a Pit Fiend coming at them. The problem for me is I usually play good alighned charactors and it just doesn't feel right opening up a gate to the lower planes.

I agree.Setting loose a pit fiend on the prime material is not the most heroic and valorous thing to do.
On the other hand if you play evil...

Hmm.. I never thought of it like that.... but if you think about it, it wouldnt metter because by the time you can SUMMON a pit fiend you can wipe it out in seconds anyway

Making a spell that summons a black dragon is much more fun... then SK'ing a mage to hage 50 lots of it... cast project image, timestop, daer'raghs aura cleansing OR improved alacrity (If you got ToB) and just summon those dragons up... not much survives 50 dragons on your side but it does slow the game RIGHT down to slug speed

hey! i discovered that those EEEEEVIL pit fiends actually give you experience if you kill them. so just cast protection from evil 10` radius on yourself, and summon some daemons in a remote area for a lot of free, riskless exp. (16k for a gated demon...)

The problem with dragons is that on any map not designed for them, they can't move more than a foot or two without getting stuck on obstacles... thus removing their effectiveness.

Plus, on my computer, /one/ dragon utterly slows me down.
