Lol, I dunno if you guys have noticedthis or not (you probably have) but if you equip a regenerating weapon (such as axe of the unwielding) it says it heals (x)hp a round. This begins as soon as you equip the weapon. So, for instant healing, you just swap this axe with your normal weapon in your inventory screen and you are instantly healed!
Just thought Id say this. Its soo cheesy its unbelievable lol.

Actually, that effect comes not from the Regeneration effect, but from the +1 to CON that it grants. By unequipping and re-equipping the Axe (or any other item that boosts CON), a Warrior with 18 CON can heal himself 9 hp every time he picks the weapon back up. This is a known issue, and appears to be hard-coded and therefore unfixable.
I should note, however, that not all characters can perform this cheese: A Bard with 16 CON, for example, gets no extra hitpoints for higher CON, and neither does a Warrior with (I think) 20 CON, because the hp benefits of 20 CON and 21 CON are exactly the same.
