Default Might and Magic II Question

I'm replaying the old MM2 game, and I've come up against an annoyance. It's only annoying because I don't have the patience I once had. Anyway, I need the password for Druid's Point Cavern. Anyone have it filed away somewhere?

If you really get stuck you can find a cluebook at:

I think that was the only one I never played. But I think MM2 was also MM1 on another platform, or something like that.

Btw, if you go to Celestial Heavens, they have tons of stuff there as well. You can also read about MM10 that some folks are working!

I'll second Variol on Celestial Heavens. *THE* place for MM knowledge, IMHO.

I don't have the password handy, and couldn't find it on there. But post, and I'm sure someone will be along with it...

Is there an associated question, or is it just asking for a password?

Another great resource are ye olde Telp Taverns, where you can sit back and draw a tankard with some fellow MM fans. There's some very knowledgable fans there.

http://telp.org/mm7/tavern/mm7tavern.html (there's taverns for 6-9 I think)

MM2 is the only one in the series that I'm yet to conquer. I started it once on my C64 back in the summer of '95 or so and absolutely loved it - but have yet to get back to it. It came packaged with the cluebook as well, but hopefully I won't have to use it too much!

Good luck on your MM adventures! And may Corak watch over you.

Unfortunately, MM2 is the only MM game that I didn't play. Something about the graphics that kept on blinking which made it unbearable for me.

I have in my hot little hands the M&M Compendium, *THE* guide to MM1-5.

Unfortunately, it's really MM3-5... MM1 and MM2 get a whopping two-page summary (total, not each!) of what took place in the games.

I think the password is either "druid" or "druids" the stones around the area spell this out.
