A music teacher friend of mine once had to persuade his colleague, an English teacher (I stress that, he was an English teacher), not to call his son John Thomas. The English teacher couldn't see anything wrong with it, he hadn't ever heard of Lady Chatterly's Lover...

On our medicare cards, your number begins with the first 3 letters of your last name and the first letter of your first name. So my neighbor Theresa Farrel always had documents showing "fart" on them.
One cool name though, was my friend Rick O'Shea. (think that's the way it was spelled...)
Tee hee.. fart.

I hate my surname, it says slavery in english, and people just can´t believe that that kind of name can exist.

My ma used to work for a school photographer for a while way back when and some of the names you'd just shake your head at...

Crystal Spring is one I'll never forget,
Twins; one named Benson, the other named Hedges - no prize for guessing what their father smoked ,
Gwen Penn,
Manny Wood,
There were heaps more but it was a while ago and I can't remember the others atm. All I can say is that if you are a parent, consider the fact that what you name your child pretty much sticks with them for life so be nice and think twice
